Arts Activists Unite!

Here are some easy actions you can take to let our candidates know that Edmonton’s arts community is very engaged with this election and to help them appreciate that artists and arts supporters VOTE!

1. Ask candidates questions on their arts platform (and ask them
   if they even have an arts platform) at:
   1. your front door when they come knocking,
   2. their online discussion forums (NB:you have to register
      first),
   3. at candidate forums – click here for a list (PDF format)
   4. call them at their office or e-mail them – candidate contact information is available here
2. Keep an eye on this website for candidate responses to our survey on the arts.
3. Post a link to this website on your organization’s website and urge your members and supporters to visit.

Please check the link to candidates’ forums below for dates and locations. We want to see as many people from our arts community attending as possible. Be sure to raise arts-related questions to the candidates at each forum.

For those of you with subscribers and audience bases, you may consider making playbill inserts or flyers available for your guests. Invite your subscribers and audience members to use these survey questions when greeting candidates at forums and on the doorsteps.
