- “The mayor's evening for the arts is for the people. I have to admit, I didn't know this. I always thought it was by invitation only. But keep this in mind, for next year: you're all invited. And it's a hoot.”
- from Todd Babiak's Edmonton Journal blog June 2007 - “We had a great time, and we were honoured to be included in the event! it was pretty wild having everyone on stage dancing too! so yeah, thank you very much for having us”.
- Nik Kozub of Shout Out Out Out... June 2007 - “I was deeply impressed and wished the evening went on longer! The final act, when everyone started dancing on the stage, I just danced and smiled and thought ‘THIS is why I love living in Edmonton.’ ”
- Lori Rebalkin – Magic 99
